purpose:
drive the development process from receipt of tech pack to production delivery f assigned products, with an emphasis on quality product engineering timely completion of all tasks, including sampling buy ready in accdance with the operating calendars.
key responsibilities:
• collabate closely with the various stakeholders - creation centres, t1, t2, various other parties - to drive the development, production shipment of product.
• ensure all the basic expectations (kpis) to be met & aligned with the group targets.
• manage the feasibility, cost expectations, materials specs, manufacturability, etc. feedback t1 input to creation centres as appropriate.
• lead the development process ensuring wkable prototypes are created which address desired function, cosmetics, cost, market appeal manufacturability, including checking f quality, size, fit adherence to stards providing options recommendations to make improvements in the sample process.
• audit, analyze validate t1 costing infmation on costing milestone basis. ensure compliance to agreed stards. manage costing escalation from cc/t1 as needed.
• ensure that all development samples, size sets, pre-sell sms are produced accurately, are shipped on time.
• wk collabatively with t1 & other lo functions - materials, production, costing technical services teams etc to ensure an on time buy ready/commercialization perfmance.
• drive f effective problem solving continuous improvement.
• ensure timely resolution of production issues wking collabatively with materials, production, costing technical services teams etc. in der to reach quality deliver objectives.
• ensure accurate timely s of the data management systems where applicable.
• take ownership of assigned additional task / project in team lo level.

requisite education experience / minimum qualifications:
• college university degree
• 5 years of related wk experience in the apparel industry in a technical capacity
